Let The Gilbertsville Tea Room make your party a day to remember! Choose from our tea themes and personalized menus. Each of our two lovely party rooms can accommodate a maximum of forty (40) guests.

When should you think about having a tea party at The Gilbertsville Tea Room? Any time you're planning a friendly yet intimate get-together:

* Business, club, or church group meetings * 

* Birthday parties for adults or children * 

* Special occasions with family and friends *

We suggest you make your reservations as far in advance as possible to secure your preferred date. Your deposit secures your date and time. You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake. We can make special arrangements for gift tables and seating. Please let us know what you like; we're happy to plan your event with you either in person or over the phone.

Please note: We do not recommend that you bring balloons because there are ceiling fans in every dining room.

Party Menus for Adults
 

Luncheon Tea Party ... $12.95 per person

• Beverage: Hot tea (20 varieties), iced tea of the day, lemonade

• First course: Scones (flavor of the day) with Devonshire cream and jam or fruit butter.

• Second course: Finger sandwich plate, including a variety of spreads on different breads, garnished with fresh fruit and/or flowers. Our variety changes daily; sample spreads: chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, olive and cream cheese spread, vegetable spread, cucumber. 

• Third course: Dessert tray with a variety of petite desserts. 
  

Full Five-Course Tea Party ... $15.95 per person

• Beverage: Hot tea (20 varieties), iced tea of the day, lemonade

• First course: Scones (flavor of the day) with Devonshire cream and jam or fruit butter

• Second course: Soup

• Third course: Salad

• Fourth course: Choice of entrée; see Tea Room menu

• Fifth course: Dessert tray; see above

Children's Party Menus

Children's Tea Party ... $8.95 per person
Ages 6 to12

• Beverage: Lemonade or tea in a tiny teapot

• Plus: Freshly baked scones served with Devonshire cream and jam or fruit butter. Three finger sandwiches with your choice of fillings. One dessert from our dessert tray.
  

Dress-up Birthday Tea Party for Girls ... $15.95 per person
Ages 6 and up
Full four-course tea including:

• Scones and/or muffins with jam and Devonshire cream

• Tea sandwiches filled with a variety of spreads of your choice

• Fresh fruit and cheese cubes

• Fancy desserts

• Children's tea and/or pink lemonade

• Party favors: Each girl will receive party favors under her teacup!

• A special gift for the birthday girl: A surprise birthday gift for the birthday girl.

• A special Victorian craft or a special birthday story.

• Dress-ups: We have a closet full of beautiful gowns, hats, gloves, and jewelry for a fun dress-up time.
  

Please note the following for all children's tea parties:
 

Room fee: $20 

Minimum of six (6) girls and one (1) adult 
Maximum of ten (10) girls and two (2) adults 

Parental supervision at all times is required. 

Optional adult Tea Tray with scones, Devonshire cream and jam, assortment of finger sandwiches and desserts is available for an additional cost of $12.95 per adult. 

If you prefer to bring your own cake, there is a $20 fee for cutting and serving.

You are responsible for mailing invitations. 

Party times are for one-and-one-quarter (1-1/4) hours. After the allotted time, there is a $1 per minute charge.
